Well Christmas is definitely on its way. The boys are getting bigger so Christmas shopping is getting more like a SAS mission. Full stealth mode, convert recon, it’s getting quite difficult. We now have a list of mission objectives. Now for the soldiers to get busy. Operation toys-r-us begins tonight.
Over an hour in the said retailers Norwich outlet with nothing to speak of. Just a huge list of preferred tips and other bedroom fillers.
And the modern Richard Claderman was in need of a little practice. Although 10 out of 10 for effort. Musically there is potential, willingness to listen to it fine tuned into a thing of beauty. Unlikely. That means he’ll probably get one.
After a long and exhaustive trawl of the shelve we final got flushed out the other end. Unlike most or wallets were no lighter unlike the vast majority of the other adults leaving.
With a spring in our step for getting out unscathed we headed north.
BLICKLING HALL
Got to Blickling just after lunchtime, the sun was dropping even then. Long shadows add to the atmosphere.
Damn is cold and windy. So much so, that the woods had been closed due to the potential of falling branches.
The garden was near empty and after a good walk it was nice to hit the cafe for a really hot tea and cake. Big man is growing up, no fizzy drinks for him, he’s a tea man too.
Then off to home warm up again and dinner.
